on Creative Response and a friend

I haven’t got the chance to update myself these past few days as I was busy and tired from work. Oh yes, you heard it right, I got in Creative Response! ;D I’m so thankful to God, to the parents and most especially to my former Advertising Design professor, Sir Vic Angeles, who recommended me to apply here. The parents are so fulfilled that their youngest daughter and the only one unmarried is finally working. Especially my mom’s, who’s really excited about it and all that she keeps on reminding me the essentials every single day. XD But I can’t blame her; after all, I’m the only one left (and since I have this theory that I want to get married before the age of 25), time will just pass by and soon, I could be in a wedding gown already. HAHA!

So far, I like the environment of the office. Plus, the location of the office is only a little away from the mall hehe ;p And all computers are iMac so yay XD Although I’m still having trouble adapting with their ’styles’ and ‘techniques’, I think I’m good.

On the other hand, I’ve been observing a certain friend of mine. He’s been acting a bit weird and flirty for some time now. To me, yes, towards me. I’m just thinking that since he’s a friend of 4 years, I look at it as a normal thing. However, the fact that I’ve known him for more than 4 years, he has never done something like this. I don’t know if that was brought about by the breakup with his girlfriend or something else. I even had the feeling he’ll court me or something. You know that line, that boundary, of just friends but play with each other and the more serious (and complicated) one? Well, if that first prediction is correct, harsh as it may seem, I think I won’t be approving him as someone that special for some reasons.

Oops, back to work. Hehehehe~

Adam couple’s wedding pictorial

Hello! As of the moment, I am currently updating every account that I have over the Intarwebz (it’s Internet, c’mon, a colloquial term) and when I found out with allkpop that the wedding photos of my ultimate WGM couple Jo Kwon and Ga-in were sneaked, I instantly searched over the Intarwebz (because allkpop only shows the photos and it’s not possible for downloading or right-clicking. They had a wedding photo shoot all the way from Bali, Indonesia! A bonus from WGM since InStyle Magazine Korea was in-charge of the shoot and it will be published in their August issue. Then I came across a Wordpress site which features almost everything about the said couple. Fortunately, the most recent post of that site was the wedding photos! YAYNESS! :D These photos are actually still not the full ones, hopefully it will be out soon! Credits to charmedlife66 (http://wgmadamcouple.wordpress.com) for the photos!

I love this! Ga-in yeppune~~~ (beautiful)

This one too! It’s currently my cellphone wallpaper (I knowwwwww)

And since these photos will be published through a magazine, I quickly searched over the Intarwebz if there are Korean bookstores in the country. I only found one and it is in P.Burgos, Makati; the home of Korean stuff (we go to a noraebang there once in awhile, the next time that we’ll go, it’d be on my expense :D *first pay supposedly*) XD I should purchase that magazine. Finding the August issue of Instyle Weddings Korea is the least I could do for this fangirl right here HAHA ^^,

on Baking Life and new phone

bakinglifeSo I’ve just started playing a Facebook game, Baking Life. I don’t know when was this game published but it’s definitely not a new one, I’m the new player. XD I’m actually loving it; it’s cute, plus I get to get money from my neighbors HAHA!

So I’ve just started playing a Facebook game, Baking Life. I don’t know when was this game published but it’s definitely not a new one, I’m the new player. XD I’m actually loving it; it’s cute, plus I get to get money from my neighbors HAHA!

On the other hand, I am starting to love my new phone. I bought it out of necessity because my old Nokia 7100 Supernova got wet due to softdrink liquid. I’m honestly ashamed to my dad because he instantly provided me with the money upon seeing my dying phone. I got it for P4,000 and it is original (or that’s what the lady said) but from China. So whenever I text, there’s a default option of changing the text to Chinese. The phone’s not too classy. At first, I’ve said that this was for temporary use until I will be able to buy the phone that I want. (eherm, Lollipop phone [I like Lollipop 2 but it will be released here after a million years] or LG New Chocolate). But because I was able to use the phone as an MP3 player too, I think I changed my mind. ;p Although I still want to get my dream phone/s, but this will do for awhile. ^^

on appreciating music to getting addicted to it

You know what I have realized lately? I’ve been tweeting about BEG Narsha’s latest digital single, “BBi-Ri-Bba-Bba”. Being a fan of Brown Eyed Girls ever since, I knew that the concept of the album and the MV and the choreography fits well with Narsha’s personality. But I didn’t like the song at first. To me, it was like so disco-ish. Then when she performed it live, my entire perception changed. I got addicted to it and the very chorus of it keeps ringing in my head since last night.

What I mean by this is that, I don’t appreciate music upon it’s release or the first time I hear it. More like, I am influenced to like it when the artists perform it live. This has been my trait ever since I appreciated Korean Pop. At first, I’ll be like, “Oh it’s okay. Just okay” and then afterwards when I hear it more, I’ll be like, “I LOVE YOUUUU (enter artist name here)” Hahahaha! Pretty much a fangirl now, right? :D

on work and TBWA

Ahh! I’m going crazy! D: I won’t be reporting again tomorrow at work. I didn’t report already last Friday and now tomorrow too! T_T I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’m aware I got a little sleepy last Friday because I got dizzy with the radiation of the computer. I wasn’t able to wear my glasses and I didn’t know I was going to edit pixels.

My friend encouraged me to apply to TBWA, a global advertising company. It is quite intimidating, seeing that it’s a worldwide company, but I’d like to just try applying. Besides, there’s South Korea and Singapore branches, so if fate will love me and I get accepted, I might be re-assigned to one of my two favorite countries in the world (yes, my own country is not even on the top 3 list XD) But whatever, that’s still too impossible right now as I have just sent my resume to my friend for her to forward it. Apparently, my friend’s dad is friends with the owner or president of TBWA Philippines. And they’re currently looking for a Junior Executive Assistant. So far, the course I graduated is applicable to this company. So all fingers crossed (wait, I don’t think that’s even possible XD) and toes crossed and all things that can be crossed and wish me luck on this! :D

srsly, the Internet’s one source of problems.

Because I couldn’t keep my mouth shut and I am home right now instead of work, I will give my opinion to this certain issue (everyone’s entitled to their opinion, so FY)

A few minutes ago, while I was inspecting my Twitter for old updates, I came across a link from a friend that mentioned the name of my college I graduated just last week. So I looked into it, and I found out that a *codename* NS person is complaining of a softdrink can that was thrown in her house. And she was blaming and threatening the students of my college, according to her post. I updated myself onto this issue by looking at her other social networking sites and apparently, she wasn’t sorry for generalizing the issue of blaming the entire college. It was purposely for warning the other students when people over the internet see her complaint.

Now as for my freaking opinion, I cannot understand why did she have to generalize the blaming? I will speak up because just a month ago, I was still a student of that college. Yes, I’ve hated and cursed my school a lot of times but it was because of internal issues with some professors… and homeworks. XD But that doesn’t mean that I will let just anyone to say something about that school. I take pride in being part of that school, though I have graduated already. I was one of the first batch of students that first experienced SDA upon it’s opening in 2007. When I’m outside, I boast with my friends that I study in that “Voltes V school”. I know the very sides and corridors of that building. I feel apologetic for whatever she had experienced for 20 years living in her home. MAYBE, to console her, I might “consider” blaming the Frosh students as they are one hell of a batch. I also have a bad experience with this batch. But the thing is, you cannot blame the whole building for this incident. There are peace-keepers in the school and have been peace-keepers during their stay in the college. My college has already a “tambakan ng DLSU” reputation for years and so you would add another by posting it over the Internet? I know you are mad, and I can’t do anything about that, it’s your own right to be mad when your lives are in danger, but I believe we are not as irresponsible as throwing a can of softdrink outside the window, or as you may have mentioned, a 1.5 liter of sprite. We have parties in school, yes, but we clean it up right away as we have a strict policy of ‘Clean as You Go’. If we are not able to do that, the janitors take care of it and surely, they don’t throw trash outside the windows of SDA.

Maybe our President does not respond to your complaints, is maybe because he’s busy, or just plainly disbelieves this incident was by the doing of his students. Please keep in mind that we are not as rude and vile as you may think. If an incident occurs like this again, make an appointment with the college’s administration and not randomly ranting over the Internet. If you had the slightest intention of spreading your mad thoughts in the Internet, then what will become of us? And we do not think highly just because our building is high. And if you have been a student of this college even for a short while, then doesn’t that make you irresponsible too, just like you have said the same to the students of DLS-CSB? You’ve been a part of the college, got out of it and transferred, and now you think you have the right to curse like that? I hope whoever reads your complaints over the Internet will not be swayed by your one-sided opinion.

Woot, officially a Benildean graduate.

Woot

Woot.

Officially a Benildean graduate now… and an alumni too. I will kinda miss the college, not to be sentimental or anything, but I will miss that school. Of course, a lot of new things happened in my life during my stay in the college. Also a lot of unexpected stuff, too. Nevertheless, I can say that my stay there was very much fruitful and worth remembering. ;)

updates~~

I feel like I don’t need to give updates but wth, I’m bored. XD

1) I just got home from school from an open forum thing with the school dean and he’s new. Good thing. The previous one was kind of uh… .. never mind XD It was just, I sent a formal letter on suggesting a bit of leniency for graduating students (when I had no choice but to repeat my OJT class). I sent like 2 letters, but I didn’t receive a reply or even a note saying that he received it. Anyhoo, I got the tickets for the graduation march this coming Saturday. Yaayy they gave 4 tickets :D I’m planning to tag my sister and her hubby along.

2) It’s Super Junior’s Leeteukie’s birthday today! I almost forgot as I didn’t open my PC today, until now. Weeeee he’s so old… kekeke~ but still so cute! :D He’s 27 in normal age and 28 in Korean age. Saengil chukhaeyo Teukie! Best leader ever! :D He just got caked XD

3) My cellphone died on me. I was drinking a softdrink in plastic this afternoon and I couldn’t finish it all up then so I tied it and placed it in my bag. Little did I know that it poured all over my bag. The cellphone which had the Globe network, had no casing (because I got off the bus like a month ago and realized a bit later that the back case fell off) so the liquid entered the phone T_T I had it opened to my uncle but he couldn’t do anything as the liquid was already in the front LCD T_____T Waaaaaaahhhh~ No more cellphone T_T

4) 2AM’s Jo Kwon released his first solo digital single today! I got a preview of it as he sang it in WGM’s last week’s episode. He made an event for Ga-in and sang the song in front of her. The lyrics are SO KKAB KWON! Hahaha! But the peculiar thing was that, the song he composed for Ga-in way way back (he composed on the spot during WGM filming to supposedly turn into their couple song) was included in the song! Ga-in was so happy XD SHINee was also singing the song on one of their shows :D

these people who mindlessly comments on JYPE’s current auditioning to form a band are so…. stupid.

Just now, I have read an article on allkpop about JYP Entertainment’s auditioning to form a band, like a instrument-playing band. It’s fine with me since this is JYPE’s first time forming a musical band and I like it that they are opening a new chapter in their book. When I scrolled down the page and looked at what the people have to say, all I saw were pure idiotic comments. One said that JYPE is trying to ruin the band industry because they have previously done so with other pop groups. Another said that JYPE is trying too hard to level with C.N.Blue and F.T.Island. And another said that they are trying to gain popularity in America with this scheme.

NOW AS FOR MY FREAKING OPINION, only one word can describe these people: GTHO. Why think about JYPE that way? It’s not as if it’s a crime to form a band right? I don’t really see the point of bashing JYPE like that. I don’t take sides as my favorite artists are in different agencies (JYPE, SME, DSP, Nega) If it’s a racial issue, what’s wrong then? They are only looking at a wider perspective for their own improvement. The term is improvement, and not money-making or fame-hungry. But what really ticked me off was the comparing of this JYPE auditions to rival with C.N.Blue and F.T.Island. F.T.Island debuted in 2007 from F&C Academy, at that time JYPE has introduced the Wonder Girls then. Around 2009, the Wonder Girls became active in America, promoting their hit single, Nobody. C.N.Blue was introduced in mid-2009 in Japan and in early 2010, in Korea. The point of this tirade is that, F.T.Island debuted a long long time ago, so I don’t see any connection of JYPE wanting to rival with them. Also with C.N.Blue too. If JYPE wanted to rival with these respected bands, then they would’ve start forming a band after C.N.Blue went live. Besides, JYPE has produced artists of almost all genres, except this. So why stop their improvement? I love the respective bands mentioned, I listen to the both of them. That is why I’m grossed out at the immature comments people have been posting. Isn’t that unique for JYPE? After producing artists such as G.O.D, Rain, 2AM and 2PM, Wonder Girls, etc. they’ve come to a new chapter of producing a different genre? GROW UP, PEOPLE.

bla. yes, it’s bla.

At this very hour, I’ve visited my old, ranting blogs constructed way back in my early college days. I found it so amusing that I used to post childish and immature entries, about college crushes, eternal homeworks and professors and more. Of course, my grammar became better. One thing I’d like to point out is that, even when I started blogging for the first time, and also upon seeing other people’s blogs in English, I started to realize my necessity to practice blabbing (yes, blabbing) in English, also to improve my sucky English. Still, though I have been blogging for more than 4 years, I cannot conclude that my English is now perfect. Still have some flaws, but working on making it better.

A few minutes ago, I started practicing walking on the high-heeled shoes my sister bought for me for my graduation this coming Saturday. I am so excited! I realized that it was too high for me to handle. But then my sister and her hubby were in a hurry, plus my brother was getting grumpy from waiting (that’s why males are not destined to shop or to accompany someone to shop). And the ones that I spotted where quite expensive so I had to find in the ‘more cheaper’ areas. Because people were getting grumpy, I just randomly decided to choose the shoes I have now, without realizing how high the heels are. I just hope I don’t lose balance and fall as while descending from the second floor (because the entrance of the graduates will start from the second floor of the PICC forum, going down the stairs) :D
